Privacy, in plain language
Your family's information is exactly that — your family's. Here's how we handle it, written to be read rather than to protect us.
Your account is just an email
To use Usha Care Guide, all we need is an email address. There is no password to create or store — we email you a one-tap sign-in code when you want to log in. We use your email to send that code, to let you into your guide, and to send you essential account messages.
What you put in your guide
The care information you and your invited family add — feeds, medicines, milestones, notes, and schedules — is stored so you can see it and share it with the people you invite. You control who is in your guide, and you can remove people or delete your data at any time.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase), with access limited to your account and the family members you invite. We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect it in transit and at rest.
No ads, no data sale
Usha Care Guide does not show advertising and does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your family's care record is never a product.
No third-party trackers
We do not embed third-party advertising or social trackers. The one analytics tool we use is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that measures overall traffic without cookies and without building a profile of you. It helps us understand which pages are useful — nothing more.
Your data is yours
You can export your information and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems, keeping only what we are legally required to retain.
Children's data
Usha Care Guide is a tool for parents and caregivers to record the care of a child. The adults who use it are the account holders. We only store the care details you choose to enter, and we treat that information with the care it deserves.
